Community Thanksgiving Service

Join Calvary Baptist and other churches from our community at Park Chapel on

November 22 at 6:00 pm for our annual Community Thanksgiving Service.

Ladies fall banquet; Saturday October 17th.  11:00 - 1:00

Guest speaker:  Lori Jones, former Missionary to Mexico and current NAMB missionary.

Enjoy soup, salad, and sandwiches as we talk ab0ut prayer and friendship.

There will be Door Prizes, Crafts, Secret sister reveal, and a Quilt display.

Now that fall is upon us and the kids are back to school the Calvary Women’s ministry is getting ready to gear up for the year.  Please keep checking in to see what is being planned and how you may be able to get involved and serve at Calvary.

Calvary Ladies Luncheon 2009

In celebration of Mother’s Day, Treasures in Heaven hosted a luncheon for all ladies.  We enjoyed fun, fellowship, and food with over 60 women in attendance!  Dana James, of Calvary Baptist Greenwood,  was our guest speaker. Dana brought us a message of encouragement from Psalm 78:1-8 concerning the legacy each of us are leaving behind, even for generations yet to come.  We were reminded of the things that we teach our children and those around us, both intentionally and unintentionally.  She challenged us to seek out a young girl that does not have Godly influences in her life, to pray for and pour our love for Christ into her so that she, or even her children’s children, might one day know Christ.
