Come and worship with your mom at Calvary Baptist Church. There is no better way to celebrate Mothers Day than to start the day with worshiping with the family. We look forward to seeing you!

Youth Group Winter Trip on Thursday 12/31/09

The Calvary Baptist Church Youth Group will be going to Perfect North Slopes this Thursday for a day of fast and furious snow tubing!! If you are interested, please let Allison or Patrick know as soon as possible.

The cost is $25 for tubing and you will need some cash for two fast food meals along the way. We will be leaving at 10am and returning around 7pm.

Mens Breakfast Scheduled for Saturday, Oct 3

The Calvary Men will be getting together at Calvary Saturday October 3 at 8:00  for breakfast and fellowship.

All men and boys are welcome and encouraged to come out and enjoy a great breakfast with all of the other men!!

Capture the Flag is here!!

The Calvary Youth Group will be holding our annual Capture the Flag Tournament this Saturday Sept. 26th at 6:30pm.

Bring your Camo, Bring your Face Paint, Bring your Friends, and most of all….Just Bring It!!!!!

Now that fall is upon us and the kids are back to school the Calvary Women’s ministry is getting ready to gear up for the year.  Please keep checking in to see what is being planned and how you may be able to get involved and serve at Calvary.

Youth Group Activities!

We are in the process of developing ideas for the youth group and will be sharing the plans with the kids and the church real soon.

If you are in 7th grade through 12th grade….the youth group is for you!!  Don’t miss out on all the fun!

We are looking forward to starting a new Wednesday night series on Sept 9th!!  FUEL will include games, activities, andmaybe some snacks!!  Stop by Wednesday nights at 630pm!

Youth Camp is almost here!!

The Calvary Baptist Church youth group will be going to Liberty University for Student Life camp the week of July 13-19.  Please be in prayer for our kids and for the leaders that are going along.

Expectations are high for God to use the youth in a great way this year.  The group has learned that they will be involved in a back yard Bible club.  How perfect!!  Why? Well, many of our youth have experience in running back yard Bible clubs and our youth group has a heart for serving!

Calvary Ladies Luncheon 2009

In celebration of Mother’s Day, Treasures in Heaven hosted a luncheon for all ladies.  We enjoyed fun, fellowship, and food with over 60 women in attendance!  Dana James, of Calvary Baptist Greenwood,  was our guest speaker. Dana brought us a message of encouragement from Psalm 78:1-8 concerning the legacy each of us are leaving behind, even for generations yet to come.  We were reminded of the things that we teach our children and those around us, both intentionally and unintentionally.  She challenged us to seek out a young girl that does not have Godly influences in her life, to pray for and pour our love for Christ into her so that she, or even her children’s children, might one day know Christ.

Awana is a Children’s ministry and meets weekly on Wednesday evenings* during the school year from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church. All children ages 3 (by the July 1st school cutoff date) to 6th grade are invited to join us in this wonderful program.
