Calvary Ladies Luncheon 2009

In celebration of Mother’s Day, Treasures in Heaven hosted a luncheon for all ladies. We enjoyed fun, fellowship, and food with over 60 women in attendance! Dana James, of Calvary Baptist Greenwood, was our guest speaker. Dana brought us a message of encouragement from Psalm 78:1-8 concerning the legacy each of us are leaving behind, even for generations yet to come. We were reminded of the things that we teach our children and those around us, both intentionally and unintentionally. She challenged us to seek out a young girl that does not have Godly influences in her life, to pray for and pour our love for Christ into her so that she, or even her children’s children, might one day know Christ.
