Calvary Ladies Luncheon 2009

In celebration of Mother’s Day, Treasures in Heaven hosted a luncheon for all ladies.  We enjoyed fun, fellowship, and food with over 60 women in attendance!  Dana James, of Calvary Baptist Greenwood,  was our guest speaker. Dana brought us a message of encouragement from Psalm 78:1-8 concerning the legacy each of us are leaving behind, even for generations yet to come.  We were reminded of the things that we teach our children and those around us, both intentionally and unintentionally.  She challenged us to seek out a young girl that does not have Godly influences in her life, to pray for and pour our love for Christ into her so that she, or even her children’s children, might one day know Christ.

CIA for kids on Sunday nights

If you  are a kid between 1st grade and sixth grade that likes music, songs, and fun…CIA is for you! Come join the fun on Sunday nights starting at 5:45 pm.

Awana is a Children’s ministry and meets weekly on Wednesday evenings* during the school year from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church. All children ages 3 (by the July 1st school cutoff date) to 6th grade are invited to join us in this wonderful program.

Are you going to camp this year or are you still just thinking about it?!   Calvary Baptist Church youth group is going to Student Life Camp at Liberty University in July.  Please let Allison or Patrick know about your plans!

Calvary Baptist Church breaks ground!!

On April 26, 2009 Calvary Baptist Church came together to break ground on a new 18,000 square foot education and office complex. Upon completion, the new addition will double the church’s usable space.
